A lot of guys want to know how to talk to women in a smooth and fun way that has the woman feel attraction for the guy. It’s really not that hard once you realize that most of the conventional wisdom out there is just a load of garbage.

Here’s how to talk to women:

First of all, please stop using pick up lines. These are the worst. They’re just a bunch of memorized rubbish that says nothing about the woman as an individual and just indicates that you’re not really paying that much attention to her or the situation. It comes across like a homeless bum asking you for money. “Hey, gimme a dollar!” Does that make you want to sit down and get to know the bum? I thought not.

Next, when you talk to women, don’t try to impress her with your job, your money, your car, or any other meaningless toys in your life. This is stupid and a lost cause as well because you’re coming at the situation from the point of view that the woman is someone that you have to impress. That you’re below her. I don’t know if you’ve had the experience of having a lame little brother or sister when you were growing up, but it’s really annoying when they try to tag along with you and try to be like you and all your friends and impress them. Not attractive.

For the same reasons, don’t fixate on how “beautiful” or “hot” she is. Chances are she gets that a lot. Plus, you’re not one of those shallow guys anyway, are you?

So that’s what you’re not supposed to do. What ARE you supposed to do? Here’s how to talk to women.

Come at them like actual human beings! Just have a fun conversation. Treat her like an equal. Some “dating gurus” out there will say to treat her like she beneath you or like you’re somehow superior to her. But really, I don’t like to do that. It comes across as overly arrogant and condescending. That’s not my style, though it is definitely better than all the typical mistakes most guys make (see above).

When a girl is equal to you, you don’t try to impress her with all your shiny toys. You just casually have a nice conversation. Sure she may be really hot, and you may really want to hook up with her, but that’s no reason to treat her any different.

Look at her like a human being that had nightmares as a little girl. Someone who has her own goals in life. Someone who cries sometimes. When you start to get this, you won’t have to worry about coming off creepy or slimy. And you will stand a much better chance of really connecting with her and getting her to like you.

The point is to not put her up on a pedestal. As long as you’re approaching her from the point of view that she has something that you have to earn, then you’ll be dead in the water from the get-go. How to talk to women is simple. Just treat them like any other person you might talk to.
